MPM Outreach - Ohio
NOBLE CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTE, Caldwell Ohio
Noble Correctional Institute requested MPM visit their facility and
administer a 3 day intensive workshop for their inmates. Noble’s
average inmate term is about 6 months for most prisoners and their
rehabilitation programs are varied and many. DUI, AA, NA, Family
Violence and all Spiritual Traditions are represented within their
programming.

Rev’s. Michael and Joan presented their workshops to over 120
prisoners, who made the commitment to attend all sessions and
receive their certificate upon completion. Chaplain George Huggins
and Program Director for Recovery Services, Monna Born, hosted
Michael and Joan. Each inmate received a booklet of handouts, The
Miracle Saturday Night 12-Step meeting and The Peace booklet. Books
and videos were donated to the Chaplain’s Library.
Classes focused on Self-Responsibility, God Dependency, Forgiveness,
St. Matthew’s Sermon on the Mount and The 12-Steps as a Spiritual
Recovery program, in their original conception from Bill Wilson.
Inmates expressed a genuine gratitude for the program and a very
real experience of Peace and seeing their world in a new way. Many
are signing up for the Spiritual Recovery Correspondence Course as a
way to further their studies, even if they change locations or are
released!
MPM is grateful for the opportunity to “give it away” and share our
commitment to the Ministry and to God and our brothers, whoever and
wherever they be.
God Bless us….everyone!
